CFD-Rocket

CFD-Rocket is a general purpose finite element method based, unstructured grid compressible flow solver. CFD-Rocket generates hybrid triangle and quadrilateral elements for 2D computational domain and by sweeping the 2D mesh around the axis line plus pre-specified number of wings and wing cross-section shape, a 3D mesh for wings and body combinations can be easily generated within minutes. The generated 3D meshes will consist of the hexahedral, prisms, pyramids and the tetrahedral. All necessary information, such as boundary conditions, initial conditions, solid wall and farfield conditions will also be written into the generated 3D mesh file. Users can run the solver immediately after the mesh file was generated.
